Our future vision: the new Compliance-first Workflow & Reporting Intelligence

We are developing our new Compliance-first reporting workflow, which will bring web-based editing, compliance and collaboration to our platform independently of Adobe InDesign.

This new workflow will operate as a native workflow within Vicosight. That gives teams a unified environment for compliance and reporting work, with stronger coordination between design and compliance and less time lost to switching between disconnected tools.

We are building this in close collaboration with existing clients and compliance-driven teams, testing against real reporting scenarios to ensure every feature delivers true value – not just functionality.

In 2027, Vicosight will have a Compliance-first workflow (native to our platform), and a Design-first workflow (our existing InDesign integration).

By bridging compliance and creativity, this unified approach turns your governed data into a reusable content source across all outputs.

With the new native environment, teams get a consistent tagging experience for primary financial statements, while project management tools allow you to seamlessly track and validate tagging progress against the exact requirements for your annual report.

This way of working also introduces an efficient interface for clearer block tagging, making it simple to select chapters, sections, or paragraphs and apply complex XBRL disclosure concepts without the usual friction.

Finally, a seamless Adobe InDesign and InCopy integration – with our Design-first workflow – closes the loop, enabling creative teams to browse and pull approved, compliant content directly into their layouts so that design and data stay perfectly in sync.
