EAP release notes: comment filters and a spellchecker whitelist

Written by Vicosight | Sep 28, 2026, 7:00:00 AM

Released on 28 September 2026.

This release makes it much easier to work through review feedback, with new comment filters for mentions, authors and recent activity. The Content Quality spellchecker also learns your company's own vocabulary, so the names and terms you use every day stop being flagged.

What's new

Comment filtering in Review

As a report moves through review, the comment panel fills up quickly. Previously, finding the feedback that needed your attention, or catching up after a few days away, meant scrolling through a long chronological list. Building on the status filter we introduced in the previous release, we've added three new filters to the comment filter menu, so you can cut through the noise and focus on the feedback that's yours to act on.

How it works

Open the filter menu in the comment panel and choose from:

  • Mentions: shows the comments where you've been mentioned, together with your own drafts and replies.
  • Author: shows only the comment threads started by the colleague you select. The list contains everyone who has started a thread in the document, so you can prioritise feedback by who gave it.
  • Last active: brings back every thread with activity in the last 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days or 30 days. A thread counts as active if it was started, replied to or edited in that period, so older threads that received a new reply while you were away are never buried.

The comment list refreshes as soon as you apply a filter.

Spellchecker whitelist in Content Quality

Company names, product names and industry terms are often missing from the Content Quality dictionaries, which means they're flagged again and again. You can now add these words to a whitelist so they're accepted in every future check. The whitelist is shared across your company, and you can view, add and remove words from it in the editor.
